My previous car was a nearly 20-year-old Outback. I don't think I ever looked at the owner's manual to figure out how to do something on the dashboard console. From the articles and discussions I've been following, I'd most likely have the same complaints about my new vehicle too. It really makes me wonder how they test these things, because with the amount of issues I ran into within the first couple of days of owning the vehicle leads me to believe they don't actually have a quality process in place for the software and UI.
