Ask HN: Anyone integrating enterprise Outlook and Google Calendar?
I work in education part-time and am also a one man saas company. The education side uses enterprise Outlook with lots of restrictions on syncing etc. For my own work I use Google Calendar.
Has anyone solved the calendaring issue of combining Microsoft enterprise and Google calendars?
I am doing some naff workaround at the moment using Microsoft Flow to add events form Outlook to Google calendar. Not ideal at all.
- hanifak 3y agoCurious, what outcome are you trying to achieve by syncing them?
- toast0 3y agoI believe Google Calendar and Exchange/Outlook can both produce and consume iCalendar files. Often close enough to standards that they're usable. :p Typically, you'd get a live export url from one and subscribe in the other. Bearing in mind synchronization period is most likely out of your control.
