maybe that's a bit unpopular opinion but I'd rather see this kind of changes if that means there is no more layoffs and they won't suddenly cutoff the spending on some opensource project... I don't rely on Redhat anymore (except for OpenShift) and fully switched to SuSe contracts now but i am happy with Redhat contributed technology to the Linux world.
