Thankfully it wasn't that lazy of a post. But it is often the case, like with links to Twitter, or random words on Wikipedia. I'd like to see the actual math and sources, though. It is interesting if the factoid is correct, and not some dweeb faking numbers and guessing the effects of those numbers, for a few Facebook views. You'd expect a post on HN to at least cite or link to a few real sources for those numbers.
