  It's hard enough finding a quality mate; and you want to add open-source fanatic to the list of requirements?

    I don't think it should be on the list of requirements, in fact I'm pretty against have requirements besides obvious incompatibilities. But I don't think it hurts if a potential partner just so happens to be interested in open-source. I thought the original commenter meant it would be a red flag or something if a person was interested in open-source.
