This is a pretty good opportunity for Canonical to pick up the slack. Aside from the snap related self-sabotage, Canonical was on a pretty good trajectory.

  Given their team up with Microsoft on Azure I don't see a redemption arc anytime soon. What is left, SUSE I suppose for an enterprise style LTS distro?
