IME dating apps are pretty much broken, and yield a deeply frustrating experience for most users. There are some entrenched apps that have the vast bulk of users despite their shortcomings. Unless someone figures out a way to give a better experience, that’s not going to change, open source or not.
- uLogMicheal 3y agoEven with a superior experience entrenchment can be hard to fight. Maybe a new paradigm like AR/VR promises is necessary to disrupt?
