Interesting how they call it cultivated meat instead of lab grown meat. It's almost like the idea of artificially constructed meat products is unpalatable to the masses and to increase the likelihood of accidental ingestion it is being deceptively labeled.
- Clamchop 3y agoIt's a little euphemistic but I'm not sure it's deceptive. We'll see how many feel duped, in any case. I don't think "lab-grown" was ever going to work as a marketable moniker but something will settle as the conventional label when this becomes common.
- SnaggyJoker 3y agoLab grown meat would work for it's supposed target market. Anything else is an attempt to dupe the dullards.
- shaftway 3y agoIt's certainly not more deceptive than almond juice or blended beans being sold as "milk".
