I know many teachers who absolutely crow about the total lack of metrics or accountability. They absolutely love it.
As a result, good teachers aren’t recognized, and bad ones proliferate.
- ttymck 3y agoYes, I would agree the current state of the profession absolutely attracts low quality candidates. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Every other wealthy nation understands this.
