- Bud 3y agoExcept that doesn't actually work. Absolute pitch is the ability to name a given tone, which is actually quite a wide range of frequency. It doesn't mean you can produce that tone anywhere nearly as accurately as is required to tune an orchestra. The intonation isn't that good.
