You can go on the front page of r/all any time of day and find news stories that are completely fabricated or graphs using made up data. I don't think AI could realistically make it any worse
- baja_blast 3y agoAI may not make the content much worse, but the engagement artificial. AI bots to astroturf comment sections and twitter to manufacture consent and sentiment to whoever pays for it. I mean we already have that now, but it will be much harder to detect.
