- EA-3167 3y agoI'd argue that it isn't commonly used in the sense of gender, but also that it isn't a slur, doesn't need to be banned, and isn't harmful in any way. The degree to which a lot of the discussion around trans people is an online phenomenon can't be overstated. It happens offline, but not much compared to what social media (and possibly quite young people in general) would have you believe.

- Shawnj2 3y agoI’ve never had it be commonly used IRL except talking to/about trans people (which TBH isn’t a common topic of discussion) but it is somewhat common online.
