This is just right-wing culture war nonsense. Biology is not being subverted. People wrote the same things about Darwin when he claimed we evolved from primates. Bunch of conservative, anti-progress, fearmongering idiots pushing an agenda against anything they see as too 'different'. This is isn't the place for this crap.

Bunch of conservative, anti-progress, fearmongering idiots pushing an agenda Don't you have the roles backwards? It is the left that is denying biology wherever it infringes on its blank-slate ideals, and withholding data gathered with taxpayer dollars if they suspect it may be used for "stigmatizing" research (and the article itself has many other sourced examples of research stifled on ideological grounds): https://www.city-journal.org/nih-blocks-access-to-genetics-database https://www.city-journal.org/nih-blocks-access-to-genetics-d... True, there are still some creationists hiding in the shadows, but I don't see academia kowtowing to them and forcing professors from their jobs if they suggests the Earth is older than 6000 years. I guess I can't blame you if you think only the right is capable of opposing science - for example, the wiki page on objections to evolution doesn't mention Lysenkoism at all, and "blank slate" appears only once, in the footnotes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objections_to_evolution https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objections_to_evolution
