If anyone’s wondering: the letters on the piece of paper are from the Cherokee script [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherokee_syllabary https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherokee_syllabary]. I have no idea if it shows coherent writing or just random letters, though.
