What worked for me recently was to divide the books into several categories: * Books I want to fully read soon. * Books I can't see myself fully reading, which subdivides into: * Books I want to keep as references. * Books I can't see myself ever reading or needing to refer to. Get rid of everything in the last category. Repeat this process once a year.
