I don't see cables in any of the pictures, so I assume it was a bluetooth connection. Could you imagine if it lost sync and wouldn't reconnect? The lack of switches and reliance on ipads (or some sort of tablet) in the submersible is disconcerting. I bet the rich folks buying those tickets were impressed though.... how high-tech!
