Ask HN: Would you pay for a code snippet manager?
If so, what sort of features would you expect from one ?
- donatj 3y agoI paid for Dash maybe ten years ago. After my initial fascination I never really found it that useful. https://kapeli.com/dash https://kapeli.com/dash
- wsgeorge 3y agoTo my best understanding of what a code snippet manager will do, no. What value would it offer?
- zabana 3y agoI was thinking of snippet management inside an organisation. One use case I thought of was onboarding new team members. You'd be able to refer to pre-written, re-usable code snippets for domain specific use-cases. But maybe it's too "out there". Thanks for the feedback !
- grugagag 3y agoHow would that be better than a shared folder with files in it?
