Yeah Google Fi/store is pretty disappointing. I bought a brand new phone once that died within 30 days; they fought me tooth and nail to replace it with a refurb. Then their system ignored the returned phone delivery status and proceeded to charge me full new price for the refurb phone after the 'deadline' passed.
