How Much Money Does It Take to Feel Wealthy?

- myshpa 3y agoLook around ... the answer is always "more than I have now". It's a game, and the game is rigged.
- simonblack 3y agoWealth is a strange concept. People try to to put a numerical figure on it, but that's not how it works. Wealthy is when the numerical amount of money you have is not something that you worry about. Wealthy is when you have 'enough'. Wealthy is when your lifestyle and the amount of money you have means that you can not spend all your assets in the time you have left to live. (Example: You spend $100,000 a year. You have two million dollars in the bank. You are 75 years old. You have to be able to live to the age of 95 to be able to spend all that cash.) Wealthy is when you buy what you want, when you want it. (The downside of that is 'What do you want for your Birthday/Christmas/etc. ?' and 'I don't know, there's nothing I want just now.') Wealthy is when you literally stop thinking about money as a problem.
