ByteDance has gobbled up $1B of Nvidia GPUs for AI
- skilled 3y agoThe Chinese developer community is absolutely overrun with borderline addiction over ChatGPT. I am not Chinese but I do frequent sites like Juejin and Qiita, and for the last 6 months - it’s nothing but ChatGPT on the front page. I wonder how much love there is going to be for ByteDance model if they end up having to severely limit it because of reasons. I’m also curious are there any existing models from that region that are picking up pace? Haven’t seen chatter about it in the Western media at all, or even here on HN.
