- AndrewKemendo 3y agoI’m sorry, but I fully disagree Haven’t capitalists forced their system, to be the default pathway for all of us via regulatory capture? I am literally forming a cooperative right now, and it is insanely hard to find legal experts, lawyers, funding, or anything that would be trivially easy in a capitalistic fashion. The legal structure of the US at least, does not understand the concept of non-stock organizations. Why? Because there is a demand for legal control that is not diffuse such that the government through private networks can control the way in which capital is allocated and work is done.
- throwuwu 3y agoWhat you call forcing sounds more like legal precedent established slowly over a long history of commercial law. Forming a coop is not illegal it’s just unusual. The more people that do it the more the law and the legal profession will accommodate it.
- moffkalast 3y agoThe whole point of it is that only works if everyone does it because it gives people leverage. If people are replicable then there is obviously none, unless everyone agrees to bargain collectively. One cannot dam a river by leaving a few meters open because someone likes to fish there. Either he gives it up, or the entire town continues to flood.
- throwuwu 3y agoTake your totalitarianism somewhere else, I’m not buying.
