I'm very cynical on this. It might have some benefit, but most likely is PR and green washing.
- jaredhallen 3y agoI think the concept of being less wasteful is pretty uncontroversial, and I like the idea of creating economic activity based around reuse and recycle. But I imagine like many things, diminishing returns will make the 100% circular goal unrealistic. That being said, why not shoot for the moon? If they fail and only achieve a 50% reduction in raw consumption, that still seems like a big win.
