I am not sure whether this is a new invention considering disposable speculums made of plastic already existed.
- xattt 3y agoExisting plastic speculums are typically made with clear polycarbonate. They are often used as a “light tunnel” with some form of light source connected on the other end. Still, there are painful pinch points at the hinges. It looks like their product optimizes spacing at the hinge, without a need of having the bottom piece too narrow and uncomfortable.
