- egberts1 3y agoBack in 1979, suburban A had a temperature reading station, we can compare to today's readings from that same reading station. Also back in 1979, suburban B did not have a temperature reading station but had gotten one added in (oh let's say halfway to 2001) later. How do you compensate for bias by newly-added suburban B into its overall mean when it is obvious that any suburban is warmer than a nearby forest. There are two bias variances to consider for B, growth rate of concrete surface area and loss of forestry (for CO2), in addition to its population growth rate.
