Every single time I see one of these attempts at simplifying Git, I'm reminded of how bad source control is when forced to use in a terminal. Entering commands in a terminal means you always have have a mental view of the state you're operating in, and having better affordances that are equally as powerful would have made a world of a difference to beginners. No wonder Git is like C++, where many argue a subset of it would be best to use, but nobody agrees on the exact subset.
