I had a dealer trying to shove a similar system down my throat for "free". I will have all those amazing function, but no mention how much data their are going to get for the lifetime of their device and app and I will be paying for traffic. I said no and they tried to make me feel guilty that I am missing out on a great deal. That being said, we have SBC powerful enough to run advanced assistants without any network connection. Until that is offered, I say no.

That's really flawed thinking. They will get free data from you and you will be paying for the internet connection as well? Is this a joke? Why would anyone voluntarily pay for internet connection in their car, when they likely already have it in their phone? At least internet advertisers has the decency to give you something for free in return. This is level of "paying for Facebook".
