As much as I hate to give Reddit the benefit of the doubt, I think you’re right that Hanlon’s razor may well apply here, albeit substituting incompetence for stupidity.
- hunter2_ 3y agoI think you meant to say "substituting stupidity" -- the new thing is the substitute for the old thing.
- zoky 3y agoHanlon’s Razor states: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." I’m saying Reddit is incompetent in this case, rather than stupid. Not quite sure what you’re getting at?
