Landslide narrowly misses Swiss mountain village
- dredmorbius 3y agoThe landslide is occurring in an area with ongoing earth movement (about 1.5 meter/year for the village, 7--8 m/yr for the slope above it), and had been anticipated for a month or so, with the inhabitants evacuated about two weeks ago.
