I’ve always found this somewhat absurd. I get that big companies are complex and projects come and go, but it is SO bad. I consider myself a decent SWE in the relevant domain, and after a certain amount of hours spent just trying to make some calls to Google Maps API from a non-colab python server without rolling my own interface around raw URLs, I just had to blame google a little bit. Of course, in the end there’s a beautiful dead-simple solution
