I think they're overlooking the change on the content production side there. If a Guardians of the Galaxy movie is going to cost a 250 million to make, you can't exclude some big audience. They need people of all ages buying tickets. It shouldn't be surprising that something designed to appeal to young and old alike, is consumed by both groups.
