This little bit of physics, electronics, material science or whatever is my major concern re: EV and why I prefer the hybrid concept (ie, carry one's charger). I do some fraction of my time going elsewhere on a 4-8 hours distance frame. I'm not interest in extending that trip due to frequent or extensive recharging times. Also, from an emergency sense, they still haven't figured out how to carry a gallon of electrons when trying to get stuck motorists to move. All of this is solvable unless they collide with some energy-density problem that ultimately limits battery technology. Would be ironic if EV's are heavier than their corresponding ICE's...
