Its right wing broadsheet counterpart -- the telegraph - just filed for bankruptcy. So I don't think there's any counterfactual to support your 'arugment'.
- Mindwipe 3y agoTBF while I think the Telegraph is flying into extremely bad headwinds by chasing a literally dying audience, it's bankruptcy is due to the ongoing feud between the family that owns it and them trying to starve each other of funds by pulling cash out of the parent company rather than the business of that newspaper itself.
