- edgyquant 3y agoI’m not so sure. I was prescribed adderal for 2 years and I definitely noticed I was a bit dumber on it, in general I was worse at problem solving, I was just super focused and so could work at a problem longer. As an example, while on adderal my chess score dropped from ~1000 down to ~700 and within two weeks of getting off of it it went right back up.
- ycombinete 3y agoMy chess rating usually goes up when I’m procrastinating. My procrastination usually goes down when I’m on methylphenidate.
