YouTube videos are out of order?
Maybe it's just me and maybe this is a silly question, but why when I open a channel on anthropology, some videos are out of order?

How to fix this?
- anigbrowl 3y agoWrite a new client. YouTube tends to order things by popularity. You can't sort by length either. Their user interface and a lot of other things are bad.
- coreb 3y agoI wrote a Playlist sorter using a Google sheet and apps script that sorts on length. I can only sort about 100 videos a day because of the cost of API calls necessary.

- jsx91 3y agoGuys, just in case, this is not simply a "rant" thread. I really want to understand what is going on, and whether YouTube really doesn't allow to watch videos on a specific channel in a simple chronological (or reverse-chronological) order.
- jsx91 3y agoAnother weird thing is that I don't see this thread on https://news.ycombinator.com/ask https://news.ycombinator.com/ask, despite of some upvotes and replies. I'm 35 years old and I remember days when websites worked as you expect them. Not this madness.
