I reboot most weeks, just to make sure the right stuff happens when I do. (I try to do it in the middle of the day, so there's time to sort out any matters arising.) A couple of times I've discovered I've forgotten to set stuff to auto-run on login, or things turn out to have lost their settings, or stuff doesn't work for whatever reason - I'd much rather discover this at a time of my own choosing!
