Just googling around a bit, I suspect this is the real source of the quote, not Napoleon.
- hinkley 3y agoI've never heard Napoleon, but I'm pretty sure that it's usually attributed to a different German military officer. Quote Investigation is not definitive in who said it. But this seems to be the oldest recorded version?
