- jleyank 3y agoI think the article makes a good point, and implies another. The point was “who under age x watches tv” where x is 40, 50 or so. Most people, including this old fart, consume their news on-line from closer to the source. CNN reads like People used to and seems an aggregator more than an originator. Secondly, there really isn’t a middle anymore in the us as far as anybody can tell. Part of the remaining tv crowd watches or surfs Fox News. They’re not going anywhere except maybe deeper into the woods. If you don’t address the other side, as it were, what’s your point? And, given that the us “left” is right-centre compared to western countries, there’s not much built in audience for cnn. Those centre to left have other sources on line or maybe on tv.
