Apple Is Ignoring Something Big About Augmented Reality
- senttoschool 3y agoIn one year, it will be acceptable to wear Vision Pro at home. In two years, it will be acceptable to wear it at work. In three years, it will be acceptable to wear it in a coffee shop. In four years, it will be acceptable to wear it while walking in the street. I think we'll get over the awkwardness quickly. I think Apple has done a great job with the Vision Pro. It's not perfect but nothing can be when you have a headset strapped to your head. I can't wait to wear this with my family and go to world museums, tourist areas, watch movies together where the characters are in our living room, go back to the Jurassic era and see the scale of dinosaurs in our house with the kids. Most of the things I want to use Vision Pro for, I want to use it with family and friends. I see the awkwardness as transitory.

- aurareturn 3y agoWe don't need to start every post with "in my opinion". It's always implied that we're speaking for ourselves on HN. I can go into every one of your comments on HN and write "speak for yourself". But that's just pointless, and so is your post.
- raverbashing 3y ago> You might not be isolated from other people—but they’re isolated from you. Quite the contrary, I think Apple is the one company that didn't ignore this. But if it's going to be enough or not, who knows?!
