I don’t get fountain pens. The ink doesn’t look good and no, they don’t feel good to write with either. I have the same reaction to smoking and alcohol, though. “Ugh, no thank you.” Before they sold out and ruined themselves, my favorite pen was the Sanford Calligraphy pen. Now I use the Faber-Castell FinePen 1511. Ink doesn’t bleed and dries fast enough that my dragging left hand won’t smear it.
