I can't even read my own cursive, let alone anyone else's. I basically didn't learn how to write in school for like 4 years because somehow that's how long it took my teachers to realise I was incapable of writing cursive readable by anyone, including them, and stop forcing me to write in it. This was around the turn of the millennium, so not that long ago, but all the teachers were old and set in their ways. Terrible school, just terrible.
