AWS Is Down
- samwillis 3y agoWhat a surprise it's US-EAST-1 again...
- thefourthchime 3y agoI saw this when one of my jobs failed for a very weird reason. Then an old friend messaged me about it. Every time this happens we talk about going multi-region, then it kind of gets put on the back burner.
- bifrost 3y agoEven the health dashboard is down now. Its spreading to other regions apparently.
- bifrost 3y agoApparently Alexa is down on the east coast, but not the west coast. Its also reported that Roombas and Ring devices are broken on the east coast.
- wging 3y ago> Alexa is down on the east coast, but not the west coast This is implausible to me: I'm on the west coast and my Alexa stuff wasn't working. Moreover, almost all Alexa devices in the US likely use us-east-1. This was true and hard-to-change as of a couple years ago.
