- uticus 3y agoFascinating. It used to be that religious mores defined the sacred, what may and what may not be done. But seems to me that biological ethics are the litmus test in our day for what is sacred. They are the center point in the tug-of-war between what can be technologically done and what the culture deems acceptable. Case in point is the guidelines referenced in the article, published by International Society for Stem Cell Research.
