There are a few weird stock cults; there is the one for Bed Bath and Beyond and the crazy one for Sears. Gamestop is nuts but slightly less so than those two.

I look forward to the documentary that clarifies why these seem so much more numerous than I remember from 20 years ago.
- sbdaman 3y agoThe Gamestop one seems to have a contrarian/anti-authority tilt to it that the other's don't really have (that I've seen, though I'm not paying much attention). I think some of the people on the Gamestop sub really, truly believe themselves to be in a battle that will determine the future of the financial system (the world?). It's quite unhinged.
