Using sway here (it's like dwm; a bit "simpler" than i3). I only use my mouse for browsing or using vscode. It's definitely easier because:
- windows take the whole screen by default
- you can easily switch by workspaces (ALT-1,2,3,...)
Basically, tiling WM are great IMHO
- E39M5S62 3y agoSway isn't simpler than i3 - it's a configuration-compatible version of i3 for the Wayland display protocol.
- bravetraveler 3y agoI may even say more 'difficult' Less because of Sway in particular - but quite a lot of stuff needs arguments to properly Wayland-ify
