Please for the love of god do not decide for me where I want to be.
I signed up, confirmed my email, opened the app and was browsing through it and was on settings tab when I got a phone call. During that call I had to look up something so I opened a new tab. After the call I went back to resend's UI to watch it blink and all of the sudden I'm on the dashboard again.
So I tested it, I went to the settings page again, switch to a different tab and then back to Resend again just to watch it switch back.
There is absolutely ZERO reason for this functionality. It is not a better UX, it's an annoying UX you do not know what I am doing or where I want to be on your website.
- confoundcofound 3y agoCould you not find a million other ways to provide this feedback less abrasively? People like you unnecessarily exacerbate the stress of launching a new endeavor.
- joshmanders 3y agoI'm sorry was I not asked to give feedback on a launch post? Did you not see this line: > I would love to hear your ideas, experiences, and feedback on any and all of the above.
- satvikpendem 3y agoThere's a difference between giving feedback and giving feedback with tact, no need to be so harsh even if you are right.

- satvikpendem 3y agoWow, looks like almost all of their tweets/comments are exhausting.
- dang 3y agoPlease don't bring in personal details (even public ones) from elsewhere as ammunition in an argument. I understand the impulse and I'm not saying the information is irrelevant. It's just not worth the cost/benefit of what it does to the threads. It only makes them meaner and more personal. Better to resist the temptation. https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&sort=byDate&type=comment&query=%22personal%20details%22%20by:dang https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&so...
- goodoldneon 3y agoCriticism phrasing is important. Just because someone asks for feedback doesn't mean they're OK with an abrasive tone. Bugs happen -- I'm sure they didn't intend for the experience to be that way
- zenorocha 3y agoThat's pretty bad, looks like some UI bug. We're investigating it right now.
