i am on the fence with this drama. while i have been struggling with using reddit for past few years, especially on mobile browser, i would like to see the company push through their objectives. to me, this situation highlights how much power mods have over a subreddit. while i recognize their role in maintaining communities without pay, the community exists because of all users that contribute to it. it didn't seem like the communities had much say in the subreddits going offline, which is very concerning.
