They also don’t have to worry about regulators pushing an alternative charging standard which makes all of their existing investment in infrastructure obsolete overnight and would increase the TCO for operating their charging infrastructure considerably. If Teslas only advantage is their proprietary charging network and plug they might as well close up shop now.
