Roald Dahl himself didn’t agree with you. He didn’t try to pass off a censored Cinderella as the original version. He wrote his own and published it under his own name. And you know what? His Cinderella was fucking terrible and I’ve been waiting decades to have a platform to point that out. His original IPs are way better than his retellings. Glad to get that off my chest.
