I tried Blackbird (similar idea) a couple times on my Surface and it hosed the install twice. I'd still make it to desktop but it was a barely usable mess, and the "restore" functionality didn't fix it. I've been pretty leery of them ever since - definitely don't try it on a critical machine, and you're really at the mercy of Microsoft changing something every update.
