RNZ chief executive apologises after pro-Russian sentiment added to stories
- justinclift 3y agoSeems to be about "Radio New Zealand": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_New_Zealand https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_New_Zealand
- mvdtnz 3y agoCorrect, although they just go by RNZ today, the term "radio" is quickly becoming outdated. They're a general digital news org, funded by the government. https://www.rnz.co.nz/ https://www.rnz.co.nz/
- justinclift 3y agoCool, thanks. :)
- olliej 3y agoIt sounds like someone (from the article a single someone) went through and altered a bunch of articles, possibly after initial publication. The article talks about journalistic standards but it sounds like they need some kind of security to ensure such silent modification isn’t possible.
